This project was probably the one I was most excited to create, I love going to the farmers market, gardening, and creating art so this was a great project that combined many of my interests. I also really enjoyed the aspect of being able to work with the members of the community to create designs that I felt very passionate about.
Artists Statement
The Farmers Market is always something I look forward to with each upcoming weekend during the summer and fall months. I love the wide variety of fresh and local produce and handmade goods. As well as the opportunity to get outdoors, listen to live music, and enjoy the sense of community that is created in the market. I wanted to cultivate this feeling in my designs, I did so with playful illustrations and a cohesive muted color palette to showcase the authentic and fun times to be had at the Saturday Farmers Market.
